Justice at Work Discussion Guides

So, you’ve already started taking Justice at Work. Your peers or colleagues have gotten into the course, too. Now, how do you connect with each other to talk about all the stuff Mia is saying in these videos? How do you create a space for meaningful conversation?

We, at Freedom Lifted, have created a free discussion and facilitation guide just for this purpose.

We highly encourage participants enrolled in the course to schedule time to gather and engage in guided discussion about the concepts featured in Justice at Work. You can do this either with one learning partner or in a small group.

We think it is best to get together at least three times, after Chapter 1, after Chapter 3, and after everyone has completed the course.

This guide includes recommendations, tips, and guidance on how to structure and facilitate these conversations. It also includes questions and activities adapted from the in-person training and the virtual debriefs Mia facilitates. They are just a starting point. Feel free to modify and make them your own.

And let us know if you have a prompt or activity you recommend be added to the guide. We are always evolving!

For additional resources to support these and other meetings, check out the facilitation tools on our blog.
